Assessment and Induction

We take a life histories approach to the identification of needs, seeing the induction period as an opportunity to collect contextual details.

After the induction period, a personalised learning plan is developed.

This plan includes:

Personalised Programme

Their personalised programme of study, detailing aims and objectives.

Career/Life Aspirations

Linked to the four Preparation for Adulthood pathways – employment, independent living, community inclusion, and health.

SEND Diagnosis

SEND diagnosis and practical details as to how their needs will be met and by whom.

How it works:

Timescales -

As a part-time alternative learning provision, we can provide a maximum of 17.5 hours per week. Our programmes are for a minimum of 6 weeks, 3 hours per week.

In-School Support -

We can also work with learners in school, providing targeted interventions and creating nurturing spaces.

The Boxall Profile -

Nurture UK believes children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and understood. Its trust-building approach supports those affected by early experiences or unmet emotional needs. The Boxall Profile is a simple, effective tool that helps us understand and respond to each child’s social and emotional needs—so they feel confident, settled, and ready to learn.
