Transition to Adulthood
We prepare students for independence through career guidance, life skills, and work placements. By supporting them in the workplace and gradually stepping back, we build confidence and ability. We also support transitions into education, employment—including supported roles—or social care, helping learners thrive in adult life.
How We Support Learners to Transition to Adulthood
We provide tailored Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) to help learners explore interests, set goals, and plan their next steps.
We support them in building skills, understanding options, and gaining the confidence to pursue education, training, or employment.
Our tutors and mentors guide learners through every stage of applying for further education, from setting goals to developing interview skills.
We work with local colleges to ensure a smooth transition, offering tailored support and up-to-date advice.
Our staff support all aspects of learners’ development, building resilience, independence, and life skills like cooking, budgeting, communication, and travel.
Qualified tutors also deliver Functional Skills to boost confidence and prepare learners for education, work, and daily life.
Using supported employment techniques and training in systematic instruction.
Network Learning pathways stepping stones
This is our bespoke curriculum, designed around seven key focus areas to support learners at every stage of their journey. Each area provides structured milestones that build confidence, develop essential skills, and celebrate progress.
With personalised SMART targets derived from our curriculum, learners stay motivated, track their growth, and gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in education, employment, and everyday life.
