Transition to New Provision
We assist learners awaiting new placements by keeping them engaged, supporting them through EHCP assessments, and helping them develop strategies for success. Our approach ensures a smooth transition while building the skills, confidence, and motivation they need to thrive in their new environment.
We offer a variety of hands-on activities that build skills, boost confidence, and keep learners engaged. From cooking and gardening to art, crochet, LEGO, and science experiments, learners explore creativity and develop practical abilities.
Forest School, gym, yoga, and mindfulness sessions support wellbeing, while all activities are tailored to individual interests to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
Opportunities to work with peers and tutors foster teamwork, communication, and social skills.
Experiences to work with peers and tutors to create a supportive environment where students share ideas, tackle challenges, and learn from one another. These interactions build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while boosting confidence and social awareness. Through collaboration, students strengthen their ability to work effectively with others — an essential skill for success in school and everyday life.
We keep in regular contact with learners, their families, professionals, and new placements to provide consistent support throughout transitions.
By sharing assessments, progress data, and achievements, we ensure a smooth handover, giving everyone a clear picture of each learner’s growth and helping make the next steps seamless.
