Network Learning Pathways has made an immeasurable difference!

"Network Learning Pathways has made an immeasurable difference for our son, and we don’t know where we would be without them. All members of the team give 110% when they are with our son, and as a result, his speech and behaviour have come on leaps and bounds. Their knowledge, perseverance, and support for our family have been so valuable, and we feel that our son’s wellbeing and development are at the heart of everything they do. It’s so refreshing that everyone is, and wants to be, on the same page. He is a much happier boy and even asked for his learning mentors when we were away on holiday! Thank you times a million!"

Then: Only able to attend school 2 hours per day.

Now: Attends education full time - school in the morning and with us each afternoon.

Next: Has a place at special school from September 2026.

Frankie

The team at Network Learning have consistently gone above and beyond to support Frankie.

Frankie has made a huge improvement in his ability to attend an educational setting since attending Network Learning Pathways. The support he receives is incredibly child-centred, and the staff have taken the time to build trusting relationships with him and understand his individual needs.

One of the main areas we wanted to see progress in was his social and emotional wellbeing, and we have seen a significant improvement in this. Frankie has especially loved taking part in the animal therapy sessions, which have been a real highlight for him and have helped him develop confidence and emotional regulation.

The team at Network Learning Pathways have consistently gone above and beyond to support Frankie, not only in his day-to-day provision but also with his transition to secondary school. Their communication, understanding and dedication have made a huge difference to both Frankie and our family. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support they have provided.

Frankie - It’s good here because there aren’t too many people making it feel overwhelming. The farm is really fun and I like that I can learn my maths in a practical way. The staff are really good they are friendly and fun. I get to work on exciting projects and craft.

Then: Only attending school for 1 morning per week, hiding under a table and not engaging

Now: Attending our provision 3 mornings per week and recently increasing his hours to 5 days per week

Next: Transitioning to mainstream secondary school, already undertaken 3 successful transition visits and is excited to start in September

Harry

"I love coming here, I often stay for extra time as I like being around everyone. I used to need support at work placement and didn’t want Dayle to leave, now I can do it by myself."

Then: Permanently excluded for college

Now: Has attended our provision for a whole academic year and has a work placement at a sports coaching provision

Next: Achieve Functional Skills English Level 2 and Maths Level 1, transition to employment

Lucy

"I like coming here. It is calm and peaceful and not so loud and busy as school. I like my staff. Luke is cool. Tom is my best mentor. I am actually quite clever. I have achieved a lot in my assessment even though I have been out of school for years. I thought I was the thick one in the family."

Then: Not attended school since Year 7, now in Year 10

Now: Attendance has improved to 67%, one week achieving 100%

Next: Return next year and start GCSE English tuition, achieve Functional Skills English and Maths
